The home to Guernsey’s lovely Saumarez Park, and probably two of the island’s most popular beaches, Cobo and Vazon. The parish has a true community feel and summer brings out that community. The local’s pub ‘The Rockmount’ is fun and friendly, further on, there’s the Grand Mare Country & Golf Club - complete with a testing 18 hole course. A contrasting parish of sandy beaches and country lanes, Castel is the pick along the west coast. And, if you want slightly more vigorous activity, some of the best surfing on the island can be found at Vazon. |
