Guernsey and its Bailiwick of islands offers the same breathtaking scenery as its neighbour Jersey, but none of the complexities of buying property. This makes Guernsey the most accessible relocation destination in the Channel Islands.
With daily connections to its’ smaller islands, Guernsey’s neighbouring islands offer four quite diverse places to visit. Properties are almost impossible to come by in Sark and even more so in Herm. But that’s their charm, no hustle and bustle, a real break from modern living.
Our largest neighbour Alderney means rolling open countryside and wide sandy bays. Sark is famous for its feudal government and refusal to kow-tow to the motorcar. The result is a timeless world of bicycles, horse drawn taxis and lazy, alfresco lobster lunches. Remember, in Sark there is no word for ‘stress’. Herm is the pearl in the channel; crystal waters complimented by white sands and lush green backdrop of hills. This pretty island is breathtaking! |
